For more than a decade, SANS has offered a free Holiday Hacking Challenge. In 2018, the challenge was dubbed “KringleCon.” WUIT personnel banded together to join the challenge in 2019. Working in their spare time, they ventured deep into the mystery of KringleCon. Alas, they did not make it to the end. This year, the friendly band of holiday hackers invites everyone to join their quest to solve this year’s holiday mystery!
The challenge will be available the second week of December. Specifics aren’t currently available, but Ed Skoudis, founder of SANS Penetration Testing Curriculum and Counter Hack, posted this last week on Twitter :
