The Office of Information Security (OIS) is always looking for ways to improve your security and reward your participation in helping to secure WashU. Back by popular request, the InfoSec team is continuing to assign the Inside Man series as our competition this August. The Inside Man is a soap opera-style training that covers critical cyber security themes in all its episodes.
This month’s competition features training from our KnowBe4 platform, which can be found on one.wustl.edu. Navigate to the Library tab to complete the training titled “The Inside Man: Season 2 Ep 06 – It’s Complicated (Multi-Factor Authentication/Phone-Phishing). If the training is not listed first, use the search function to find Episode 6. Once you complete this training, you will be entered into this month’s competition!
If you missed Season One of The Inside Man during Cybersecurity Awareness Month or previous episodes of Season 2, you will find all these episodes under the ‘Library’ tab in your KnowBe4 dashboard. This additional training will not count as an entry into our July competition but will allow new viewers to gain important context about the storyline.
