Roselyn Rozario, Security Policy Advocate, will play a vital role on the InfoSec team by analyzing information security data to assess the impact of the Awareness, Behavior, and Culture (ABC) team’s initiatives and help shape strategies to better serve the WashU Community. In her role, Roselyn will also partner with members of the InfoSec team to raise security awareness by promoting and advocating for WashU’s policies and developing communications for the policy library and materials to foster a security-aware culture.
At WashU, Roselyn looks forward to helping our community prepare for current and emerging security challenges. She highlights the vital role of cybersecurity professionals in keeping people informed and educated on the wide range of cyber threats we see today.
Roselyn’s exceptional academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Penn State and a master’s in Applied Data Science from the University of Chicago. Her experience lies primarily in the banking industry in program management, communications, and customer experience. She brings a unique, well-rounded perspective to the InfoSec team and her advocacy role. Technology’s importance in today’s world drew her to InfoSec to help others stay safe in an increasingly digital environment.
Outside of work, Roselyn enjoys reading fiction, solving puzzles, and building Lego sets. As a lifelong lover of books, she finds they provide both education and entertainment, making them a versatile and portable source of joy. She’s also a fan of sports, movies, and TV shows.
