The WashU CUI Management Plan (Box view only link) outlines all the ways WashU protects CUI data, including:
- an overview of the WUSTL-SEn system
- the identification of the organizations and assets that deal with CUI
- procedures for identifying, categorizing, labeling, and marking CUI
- procedures for storing, processing, and transmitting CUI
- the security procedures for protecting CUI that is stored as part of a data or system backup, including recovery services
- the procedures for protecting CUI outside of the WUSTL-SEn controlled environment
- the procedures for supporting incident response activities and managing CUI data spills
