Data that is not freely available to create, store, or transmit but does not have regulatory requirements. This includes data provided to WashU by external individuals or entities for use and storage by the university.
Examples of confidential data at WashU include:
- HR records
- Legal documents
- Intellectual property
- Financial data
- Deidentified research data
