As part of our National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) celebration, the Office of Information Security will be staffing a table at the Danforth Health Happenings fair on Monday, October 14, from 11am to 3pm. We will have games and prizes geared towards educating attendees about good online health. The event will be in the recreation gym in the Sumers Recreation Center on the Danforth Campus. Get your annual health screening, visit with clinicians and vendors, walk away with giveaways, and more!
- Health Screenings and Flu Shots! Participate in your annual health screening to measure important health indicators, including your blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and more. New this year – get your A1C levels measured. Benefits-eligible employees can participate in one health screening per calendar year. Click here to register for your screening and/or flu shot!
- Chair Massage! Relax with a chair massage from a licensed massage therapist. Appointments are first-come, first-serve. Participants will need to complete a waiver prior to their appointment.
- Passport Raffle! Passports listing each vendor will be available at the HR Wellness Connection table; pick one up on your way into the event. Ask each vendor you visit to initial your passport, then submit it with your contact information back to the HR Wellness Connection table before you leave. All submitted passports will be entered into a raffle drawing for various prizes; winners will be notified following the event. It is not necessary to have every vendor box stamped.
