Why am I enrolled in microlearnings?

To keep our university community safe, everyone is enrolled in brief cybersecurity microlearning sessions. These sessions are designed to raise awareness and empower you to recognize and avoid online threats—no tech background needed!

How do I complete my microlearning?
  • Microlearning is fast and easy:
    • Watch the short video in your assigned module.

  • Complete the knowledge check at the end of the video.

  • Exit the module to register your completion.

Your progress is tracked automatically—just be sure to complete each step before closing out.

How do I complete the knowledge check?

After watching the video, you’ll see a short knowledge check (a quick quiz!). You must answer all questions correctly to complete the knowledge check and microlearning module.

If you have technical issues, please email ithelp@wustl.edu and our service desk can walk you through troubleshooting to complete your microlearning module.

What should I look for in the manager or reminder emails?

Keep an eye out for emails from the Office of Information Security at infosec@wustl.edu.

  • Assignment emails
  • Reminder emails if you haven’t completed a module
  • For managers, reminder emails that your team members need to complete the module

I have a direct report leaving the university. How can I get them removed from my microlearning list?

Email ithelp@wustl.edu with the name and WashU email of the employee. We’ll take care of the rest and update your list.
